We cut curly hair wet first to establish structure, then check and refine it dry — because curls shrink, shift, and reveal their true fall differently when dry than when stretched out wet. Cutting only wet or only dry misses how the hair actually sits day to day.

ThermoCut: Heat-Sealed Ends for Longer-Lasting Hair
ThermoCut uses heated blades to seal the hair as it's cut. It's a finishing technique applied at the moment of cutting, not a chemical treatment — it doesn't change the hair's structure, but it changes how the cut end behaves afterwards.
What it does
Seals the freshly cut end, which can reduce how quickly that end frays and re-splits compared to a cold-cut end. Particularly worth considering if your hair is coloured or chemically treated, since processed hair is more prone to dryness and split ends.
What it isn't
A treatment that strengthens hair overall or reverses existing damage. It affects the cut end, not the hair you already have. It's a standalone service with its own price, and most people notice the benefit after a few cuts rather than the first one.
